The Foliage of Life is a book that dwells on all that makes life meet God’s expectation. It reveals the pattern of life’s growth and the role and responsibility required to fulfill destiny. It deals with the subject matter of life because as a tree, life is a process. As growth is a process so also is destiny a process because destiny grows to maturity as a tree does. The tree does not rise to full potential without the right nourishment. The same with the child of God; the extent of growth is dependent on the source and scope of the nourishment. The nourishment entails the source and the handling that bequeaths the destiny quest on the beneficiary.
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation,” Psalm 68: 19 (KJV).
Whatever the seed would become depends on the natural and supernatural makeup of the grain. The seed requires the right nourishment and handling to grow to full maturity of its natural and supernatural bid. The seed germinates with the innate supernatural abilities which are placed in it by no power of its own; that is the reason it is supernatural. Adequate nourishment and pliable environment will empower the affair of the seed and grows it to become a plant or a tree. The seed metamorphoses into a tree by shedding off some associative things and character. Nature does not change, but its character and life develop into a higher level as the timing and nourishment demand. In this journey, growth is paramount.
“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things,” 1 Corinthians 13: 11 (KJV).
As you grow, your intellect and influence grow. The extent of your positive influence is dependent on the extent of your growth. Growing starts in a seed, and the seed becomes a self-reproductive tree to make a family of like trees. This is the demand on your life to change others and knit them with you to the family of Christ and become the people of God.
“Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy,” 1 Peter 2: 10 (KJV).
The nourishment is what evolves the seed-packed will of God. Presenting yourself to the benevolence of God’s supply and handling makes the seed-destiny grows into the tree of influence. Your influence magnetizes others into the fold of God’s kindness and knits as a family of unity, love, and power: the demand of the sonship.
