This is arguably the most comprehensive and insightful book ever written on the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. It was written by Harold Horton in 1934 and has been re-published continuously ever since, all over the world.
He was converted and filled with the Holy Spirit through the ministry of Smith Wigglesworth in the early 1920’s. He became friends with Howard Carter who was the principal of Hampstead Bible School, the one of the most effective Pentecostal Schools in Britain. Howard invited Harold be a tutor there and he soon became a popular teacher, writer and pastor with the British Assemblies of God.
In 1934 he first published ‘The Gifts of the Spirit.’ It was a work based on the revelation which God gave Howard Carter but which was organised and filled out by this teacher/pastor through years of personal experiences of the Spirit.
The book was soon used in Pentecostal Bible schools across the English speaking world and is still as valuable today.
