Edith Wharton (January 24, 1862 – August 11, 1937; born Edith Newbold Jones) is a famous American novelist, short stories writer. She was born in privileged America’s family and show her point of view on it at her stories. She was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1927. Also, she was the first woman who's work “The age of Innocence” won the 1921 Pulitzer Prize for literature.
