This book lays down a definitive argument for a Post-Tribulation view, i.e. the return of Jesus after the seven years of yet to be fulfilled prophecy on this earth. That means you will have to face the Mark of the Beast, i.e. an ID on the right hand or the forehead – issued by a worldwide government, headed by the Antichrist – to insure that no one buys or sells without it.
Events leading up to the end of the world are dealt with herein, but are there more fundamentally profound reasons to read this book? Maybe that is best answered in the title of the third book in this trilogy – “The Mystery of the Kingdom of Heaven, The Origin of Man.” There are some wonderfully rich mysteries in the Bible that no one seems to have recognized. The pinnacle of these mysteries is that God is going about a process of re-making His Creation into one that possesses His nature – incapable of sin (missing the mark of God’s excellence), and impossible to lie. This is why Jesus came, to destroy the works of the devil, the Father of lies, so that God’s new Creation will never again veer off track. A mystery of almost equal import is Mystery Babylon. A specific group of people, down through the ages, that have ties back to the Fall of Man. In the end, God’s Wrath is directed at Mystery Babylon, so you know these people are inherently void of goodwill. Mystery Babylon is identified in this book.
