The Toxic: Don’t let your In-Laws ruin your marriage is a guide created to inspire you and not to perspire you! I am of the opinion that if you are informed, you cannot be deformed. With this in mind, the first thing you should know is this; not all Toxic in-laws are aware that they are Toxic. As funny as this sounds, it is true. This is why I want to enlighten people about this sensitive subject matter.

As such, living with toxic in-laws can put a considerable amount of undue stress on you and your spouse. But, what should you do about it?

That’s the question this guide will work to answer. By walking you through the warning signs and things you might experience if you have toxic in-laws, you can recognize potential problems before they have the chance to boil over into something more substantial, and perhaps unrepairable.

While it does not (and should not) necessarily fall on you alone to fix whatever disagreement has arisen in the family from your relationship with your significant another, you do need to play an active role in addressing it and working to move past it. And so, does your spouse.
