The Way for Mankind, Book 1
This is an essay offering a specific analysis of the world’s problems.
The book deals with the problems of the world in the social and economic aspects. The general idea is that neoliberalism is basically wrong and will never solve the problem of a fair living standard for everyone. So-called development is not progress at all, but rather it is a sick growth if not done on moral bases.
The human creature believes it has reached the final point in evolution, a kind of perfect being, while in fact evolution is not finished and we have to continue the way in spiritual development. If there is any growth or development to be done, it must be a growth in consciousness, and the way to achieve it is through meditation.
The past century has shown signs of the evolution that’s going on in human society. Movements such as the Hippies, Women’s lib, The New Age and others are signs that we are evolving in the same way as all natural systems do. This type of evolution is also the answer to economic problems, as can be seen in solidarity ecomomics. That is the development of various forms of cooperative enterprises as it is being done in many places from Bangladesh to Venezuela.
The book rests on a lot of research but absolutely not on personal speculation, the underlying thread and inspiration comes from Oriental wisdom, and this allows a general view that joins everything together from basic wants to spiritual needs.
This work is followed by another book with the same title, dealing with political and cultural aspects of human problems.
Next will come a third volume about spiritual issues only.
The whole series is not aimed at advanced spiritual practitioners, but rather at any average individual who wants to fit all the pieces of his life together.
Another original vantage point is that is it not restricted to one country or one civilisation, or one culture, but really deals with the human condition as a whole, all over the planet. It is meant for any person alive.
