Kimberly Turner is her own worst enemy. She is smart, creative, and beautiful, but doesn’t quite know her full potential. She never finishes anything she starts, thrives on excuses, and sabotages her relationships. She yearns to do something that will propel her into a promising career, but lacks the confidence or the motivation to do it. Kimberly meets her neighbor, Dominick De Bias, who invites her to an elusive private club. The two become lovers and Kimberly is happy for a while.
