After two werewolves were killed by vampires, Jean was certain war would break out between her clan and Genevieve's coven. Marko, her father, was the alpha of her pack, and he needed to answer to the attack in some way, or the wolves that chafed under his rule would try to overthrow him. He was a cautious man though, and he called the vampire leader to a meeting.
He believed there was more going on than it appeared. The redhead wasn't their ally, but she wasn't their enemy either, and there was nothing for her to gain by making them one. Most wolves weren't happy, but they agreed to listen to what Genevieve had to say.
Jean couldn't help but feel nervous about it all. She had a crush on the vampire, had it for the longest time, and the worst of all was that everyone knew it. The wolves didn't comment on it much, she was the heir to the pack after all, and none wanted to provoke her, but the vampire was aware of her attraction and used it to tease her.
Most of the time, Jean didn't mind it much, but now she was starting to see the relationship between the pack and Genevieve's coven collapsing, and she feared that one day she would be forced to face the other woman in battle…
