The Holy Scriptures provide a compass to guide us through life. In Warnings of a Watchman, author Thomas Logie calls our attention to the keys in experiencing family joy on earth and eternal joy in heaven by obeying the words written in the Scriptures.

Born spiritually dead and a sinner, Logie was changed by Gods mercy, and that mercy has prepared him to communicate the Biblical views and messages in an easy-to-understand manner. Through anecdotes and extensive scriptural examples, Logie provides guidance on how to live a Biblical and loving family life.

We all must obey the Scriptures. I seek to follow the teachers of Nehemiah 8:8. So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. In fact, I and every other teacher of the Bible will face a stricter standard of judgment because we are handling the Holy Scriptures as distinct from mathematics, science, literature or other human learning. James 3:1.
The Holy Scriptures give us a better way. We have to start by acknowledging that we cannot govern ourselves as individuals any more than a nation can function without some form of government.
