This is an account of my journey into blindness over six decades from a progressive eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa (also known as tunnel vision). Part One focuses on the many challenges which I faced and Part Two is presented in separate chapter subjects each sharing my experiences with many coping tools.  Since these tools continue to assist me to lead  an active, productive and happy life, the information contained within these pages, sprinkled lightly  with humour, is a valuable resource to both  those facing vision loss and those who support them.

This book was borne out of a desire to communicate to my Grandchildren that their blind Grandmother had a great life. While I hoped to fulfill that plan, it also turned into a valuable source of information to anyone facing vision loss, and to family and friends who provide support.
