The main objective of this assignment is to develop a real eBook during the course EPM 4173, and apply some tools and techniques of self-management team, to create this original eBook. This is a new experience for all the team members, and the same time was exciting because none of us have ever worked on building a book/eBook.
To begin our research, the first topic was identifying all the parts of a book, for example, an abstract, introduction, how to divide chapters, considering how many chapters our book will have, and how to distribute the work. After finishing this first part, the most important part was what the eBook would be about, and because the course was about Developing Managing, Motivating and Inspiring Project Team, we decided with a consensus to write about Self-Management Theory. This will be presented in Chapter I.
The next challenge was to search how to create an eBook, and what is the best and free website that can publish it, and to achieve this objective we chose "lulu.com."
The course was constructive to develop and finish our assignment because in each class we developed a part of our book, and you would be able to see all the work in chapter II when each item represents a class. The last and most important chapter i.e. Chapter III will present the lessons learned by each member of our group, that was very interesting because we are an eclectic group, with different backgrounds, ages, gender, and even different cultures, and the results were a variety of the experiences.
