It's an ancient tradition among the Christians, especially in Catholic and Anglican domains, to celebrate the Stations of the Cross, also Way of the Cross or simply The Cross especially in the Holy Week and the Good Friday.

If You search in the internet for these terms (Google, Wikipedia etc.), You'll read that there are some differences within this celebrations. In this ebook You can view a Stations of the Cross with 14 stations, as shown in Rohrbach. Shown are the isolated bronze reliefs in a modern style with the descriptions of the scenes in English, French and German.

These relief plates were newly elaborated in 1983. Unfortunately it was not possible to get informations about the artist. The stations were originally erected in 1872 by Barbara Beer. The way is about 60 m in length and to go easily.

All stations are on the right handed side of the way.

Rohrbach is a community part of Kallmünz in the administrative district Amberg-Sulzbach in the Oberpfalz. The church is adminstered by the church in Dietldorf. A way up to the cemetary there is this Stations of the Cross.
