Since the existence of a man in this planet, foods have been imbued with all sorts of attributes beyond satisfying hunger and sustaining life. The nature has bestowed us with such foods which in addition to providing basic nutrition confer several health benefits and one such health benefit is stress-relieving. The World is progressing and lot of technological advancements has occurred which has made life comfortable. But the stress level of an individual ¡s increasing day-by-day which is of a concern. In this book, I attempted to present to the readers the basic aspects of stress, its physiology and most important and specifically the management with more emphasis on management of stress through diet. Almost all of stress-busting foods are discussed but yet may be some foods which might have been missed by me. The topics covered ¡n this book will provide people with new insight into an appreciation of the stress-busting foods. However, the information presented in this book is not set in stone. Some of the concepts are likely to change in the near or distant future as new knowledge comes to light.
