Jill gasped and asked, “Computer, what just happened. Where are we?” The computer remained silent for a moment and then said, “Jill, we are presently located somewhere inside of universe number sixty-seven. The exact position inside this universe is unknown to me.” Jill looked towards Frederica sitting in the co-pilots seat and sensed the fear in her eyes. Jill was certain that the flight plan she had approved was correct, she had read it carefully as always and she was certain she was not wrong, the destination was universe number three, not universe number sixty-seven. Jill spoke to the computer, “Computer I did not approve a flight plan to universe number sixty-seven, why the fuck did you take us to the wrong universe?”
This is the third novel of the intended six for The Intergalactic Peddler Series. This volume is very significant and is the turning point for the works to follow. The Empress had been lost in an unexplored universe for over five years and the crew is weary of life aboard the time travel vessel they all call home.
The Skipper of The Empress, Jill Marie Yutaka and her business partner Trish, are finding it difficult to live continuously aboard the traveling warehouse that Jill’s father Ronnie Sam Yutaka designed and operated until his death from a teleportation accident along with his wife Angela Irene Yutaka. Jill and Trish purchase a beach house on the planet earth overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Jill hopes to keep her crew intact and she feels that the only way to do that is to allow time off the time travel vessel they call home for short vacations. There are three new babies introduced in this volume and you can look forward to them becoming active members of the crew of The Empress in Volume IV. This novel will set the foundation for the novel to follow, The Intergalactic Peddler – Volume IV (The New Age). Ronnie will have this novel ready for publication as an e-book on his website by the midsummer of 2010.
Hope you enjoy this volume of the Peddler series. Keep reading to your children. They need to feel the power of having good reading skills. The mind is like a hungry Tiger. You must continually feed it (words) or it will slowly starve to death.
