The Revenge of Anna Huckster
The Revenge of Anna Huckster revolves around a woman who discovers that her loving husband was cheating on her. The husband and his mistress eventually steal most everything of value from Anna’s home, including some gold that Anna had mined from a mineshaft on their property. Anna swears revenge and seeks out the help of a warlock who lives in the Seine Mountains, to provide a just punishment for the husband and his mistress.
When Anna first discovered her gold mine, she picked up a small bronze trinket that someone had left behind. She stored the trinket in her first aid kit and placed the kit inside her backpack. Later, Anna discovered that the trinket was a talisman, which eventually connects her to the warlock she was seeking.

Anna remembered back a couple of years earlier, when she had first done research on this warlock. One of the local television stations had sent of a pair of reporters to check out a farmers report that the warlock had become angry over how the farmer was caring for his pigs. The farmer did not seem to think that pigs deserved to live in such squalor. The farmer aimed his shotgun at the warlock and ordered him off the property. The warlock did eventually leave, but not before turning the shotgun and the two pigs into stone. When the reporters finally located the farmer, he showed them the stone shotgun and the two pigs. The reporters decided the farmer was deceiving them. The reporters wrote a scathing article about the farmers claim, but many of the local residents living in the area of the farm swore that the farmer was honest and that the event actually did happen. The warlock had performed other feats of magic, witness by dozens of citizens of the small city, but most intended to keep the tales to themselves. Magic and witchcraft was not something readily accepted in a modern day society. Anna’s research had provided a general area of the Seine Mountains where the warlock supposedly resided.
