ROSWELL
by Kevin Randle
The Roswell story as we now understand it, begins when Mack Brazel, a hired hand and ranch foreman, drove into Roswell in early July 1947 with a load of strange metallic debris. He didn’t take much with him, maybe a small cardboard box full but enough that the Chavez county sheriff realized that it was nothing that he had seen before.
The MOD and UFOs The Official History
By Nick Pope and Georgina Bruni
This world exclusive article revealed for the first time the secret history of the British Government’s early involvement in the UFO issue, giving an insight into the politics and personalities responsible for shaping official policy. The bulk of this article concerns the post-war period, but to understand what happened and why, we need to go back a little further.
Deep Space Objects Filmed!
If there is one thankless hobby or job in this world, it’s Amateur Astronomy. Under-funded, underrated and always taken for granted, these little giants of space science are always willing to stretch the bounds of our scientific knowledge without the need to work within the restraints of some established scientific theory or database. Despite the unappreciated nature of this Endeavour and often finding themselves at odds with the scientific establishment, Amateur Astronomers are responsible for some of the most significant milestones achieved in Astronomy.
An Alien Agenda?
by Tim Swartz
Our mass media is on an extraterrestrial kick. Watch any television or read any current magazine and you’ll usually find at least one reference to UFOs and their alien pilots. Print ad’s and TV commercials abound with the space aliens and their antics. It seems the popular notion is that UFOs (or Flying Saucers) are spacecraft from other planets. Many researchers no longer ask: “what are UFOs?” Instead they question, “What planet are they from?” But what do we really know about unidentified flying objects?
Is It Alien or Human?
(only the Geneticists know for sure and they disagree)
A tiny body was discovered in the village of Kaolinovy, Russia, on August 13, 1996. The village is located on the eastern slope of the Ural Mountains near the town of Kyshtym in the Chelyabinsk Oblast (an Oblast is a federal region administrated by Russia). Due to poor or sensationalized press courage at that time, the actual story of the discovery varies. According to an article published by Pravda-On-line, the best account comes from Major (Ret.) Vladimir Bendlin, a former investigator with the police department of Kyshtym.
Anomalies on the Moon
Our bodies are tuned to its passage, and our calendars to its phases. Next to the sun, no other object in the heavens has played such an important role for mankind as the moon.
The U.N. Plan for UFO Disclosure and the International Year of Astronomy
The United Nations has designated the year 2009 as the International Year of Astronomy. Whether this was purposeful or just a coincidence, it lines up perfectly with their alleged plan to encourage disclosure of information about the UFO phenomenon next year. After one or more meetings and briefings on the subject were allegedly held in February of this year, I made a number of inquiries and have been astonished at the results.
Ufology for the New Millennium
by Nike Pope
The summer months of 1997 saw ufology in the public eye to a greater extent than any time than I can remember. The fiftieth anniversaries of Kenneth Arnold’s “flying saucer” sighting, coupled with the fiftieth anniversary of the Roswell incident were events which attracted the attention of the mainstream media, and therefore presented ufology with a tremendous opportunity to put forward its case to a wider audience than usual.
