This is part of a series of books in which particular verses are picked from books of the bible, and the issues of Spiritual Identity are explored, in the light of the mind of God for us.
In this book, we explore five topics, from different verses in the books 1Chronicles and 2Chronicles. They are: Jerusalem; Sons: The dynamics of being joint-heirs with Christ; Christ’s throne established forever; The foundation; and The restoration movement.
Excerpts:
Jerusalem
“His murderers must have thought to themselves: how would he take over as king when he is killed? Not knowing that a whole new world that will become opened to him after that in his resurrection, and he would be king in the New Jerusalem, at the end of this age (Revelation 21:1-4).”
Sons: The dynamics of being joint-heirs with Christ
“The man who is blind and does not know it thinks that everywhere is black. So from the point of view of man it may seem that God is dead but it is man than is dead, and needs life, which only God can give, and he has done so in Christ (1John 5:11).”
Christ’s throne established forever
“Jesus said that if people who are evil know how to give good gifts to their children, how much more, would our heavenly father, give good things to his children (Luke 11:9-13). With his love shared in his son, his extends invitation to everyone everywhere to dwell with them as they come to his house in heaven.”
The foundation
“The successive generations since the Martin Luther reformation build on the foundation of the previous generation, and the unveiling of the purposes of God for the earth and the church enfolds.”
The restoration movement
“The earth and the people in it were fully influenced by God (prior to the fall of Adam and Eve) and through the church, the earth will be restored, with the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19-23), which is what the whole earth is waiting for to enter into their freedom from sin and decay. When the Sons are fully restored the earth will be fully restored and the whole earth will be full of the glory of God (Habakkuk 2:14) as the water cover the sea. It’s better you become a Christian, because these things I am writing are inevitable.”
