Stefano Pantalis, a business tycoon from Greece was sitting at his desk thinking about his younger brother, Andreas. He was old enough to work in the family business now, but he was enjoying the single life and the pleasures that brought. Stefano was forced to run the family business long before he was ready because of his father’s heart attack and Andreas avoided him as much as possible to stay free for a while longer. Andreas was infatuated with Lisa, a girl he met from the states who visited him regularly here in Greece at Stefano’s expense. She enjoyed new clothes, first class restaurants when she was here and most of the time a plane ticket back and forth. Somehow he needed to take care of this problem before Andreas was engaged to Sofia, who had been promised to him since they were children. Andreas agreed not to invite her over again, but Stefano overheard the conversation of having her use different identities when she flew to Greece.
When Stefano realized Lisa was coming this weekend, he interrupted her plans, taking her to his home on the Island. It was a gated property with an alarm system and surrounded by water. She would not leave until he allowed it, which would be after Andreas was engaged.
Cassandra Wilson tried to convince him she was not Lisa and she did not know his brother, but he did not believe her. She was going to Hawaii for her first vacation to finish her novel and enjoy the sunshine. She did resembled Lisa with her beautiful body and dark hair, matching the pictures he had of her. Stefano was sure she was lying to him using false identification, as she had been the last few times she was here with Andreas. He verbally punished her often telling her to find a real profession and support herself. She tried to escape off the Island, but it was very secure. She ran and hid from him often, not knowing about the security monitors. They fought often about her identity, him always refusing to listen to her. She was there five weeks before he finally allowed her to leave when the engagement party for his brother was over. After talking to his cousin at the party, he realized she was telling him the truth. The real Lisa was getting married to someone Andreas had introduced her to on the family yacht a few weeks ago. Cassandra was only twenty years old and he had held her prisoner and degraded a complete stranger in his home. He was sure she would be afraid of everyone now. She would be in the states finishing her degree at the college by now to become a teacher. The only address he had for her was her publisher. He sent her a check to pay for a real vacation along with an apology. She refused it and sent it back to him along with her new book, “Captive In Greece.”
He boarded his jet flying to New York and found her. He apologized asking her to return to Greece with him. It took him some time to convince her he wanted her to be his wife, and finally they went back to his home on the Island. He was very protective of her demanding she listen to him always, especially when she was off the island for any reason. He warned her on many occasions never to talk to any man without him close unless it was her driver, but she still did not like to listen. When he walk up to her talking to a group of men in his office about her home in the states, he punished her. He was extremely angry with her and she wanted to go back to the states alone. He refused to let her knowing she loved him. This is the only person in his life that dare tell him no for any reason and he was not handling it well. She was very young and he would have to maintain his patience until she matured.
After a very fiery beginning, she gave in to his request. They were married in the church with an elaborate wedding because of his position in the family and he promised to love her forever.
