Essay from the year 2008 in the subject Business economics - Law, grade: 99.00, University of Phoenix, course: BUS 415 Business Law, language: English, abstract: Estimated MPG and the First Amendment The U.S. Constitution is the official rulebook of individual and business behavior in the United States. Without the Constitution and its amendments, judges, juries, and lawyers would be unable to litigate equitable justice. Businesses, just as individual citizens, must adhere to the articles and amendments in the Constitution. Moreover, the importance of the Constitution cannot be over emphasized since 'fully half of the provisions of the Constitution govern commerce' (Roberts, 2005, p.24, ¶2). One of the widely used, contested, and defended Constitutional amendments' regarding business dealings is the first amendment.
