Belinda stared at the print from the computer seeing nothing but clouds. She was extremely tired as she had been pouring over one print after another from the company’s Human Resource (HR) Information System for the past week. As Chief Human Resource Generalist for Little Feet Hosiery, she had to ensure that the system was updated with all staff qualification prior to the company’s acquisition by Leggs International. This had been expected for months; however, the over two hundred staff members were very slow in submitting the necessary documents required for updating the system.
Across the hallway were the Industrial Relations (IR) Department and the Accounting Department, separated from HR by the passageway and walls made of glass. As she leaned forward going through the list, Belinda felt Mr. Grainger’s eyes on her. Without removing her eyes from her work, she pulled the lapels on her jacket together to provide some further coverage for her large, breasts which almost always braced against her garments as though they wanted to escape. Mr. Grainger supervised both HR and IR, so he sat at a strategic position where he could observe the work of both departments. Very often she saw him looking at her but he would quickly avert his eyes whenever she glanced up from her work. Belinda was an attractive girl, so she was accustomed to receiving attention from members of the opposite sex; however, Mr. Grainger appeared to be the devoted, loving husband. A nerdy-looking type of man, he wore glasses with thick lenses. He was the type whom no one would expect to notice any female other than his beautiful wife Diandra.
