This is part of a series of books in which particular verses are picked from books of the bible, and the issues of Life in the Spirit are explored, in the light of the mind of God for us.

Rivers of Living Water
“Maybe you don’t know or you don’t care or you find the whole idea unsettling, or you don’t want to be counted among the holy rollers, or you are just not ready. Whatever it is, it means your believing is not complete, if not, the living waters will be flowing out of your bellies according to the words of Jesus by now.”
The Helper
“The fruits of the Holy Spirit is about the Holy Spirit being love, peace, joy, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, patience and self-control in you. That is an empowered life, free from trying, but living in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, under his full influence, giving no space for the sinful flesh!”
Of sin, righteousness and judgement
“The first disciples wanted to cocoon themselves in Jerusalem but the Holy Spirit would have none of that. He pushed the reach of the church to the ends of the earth for the conviction of the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment.”
Receive the Holy Spirit
“The second level is the continuous unravelling of the one-time baptism (after you have believed) in the Holy Spirit, as evidenced by divine speech in unknown tongues from inside you (Acts 2:1-4).
“Both have to do with receiving the Holy Spirit, the former, passively, and the latter actively.”
