More specifically, this paper will argue how the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbour played an instrumental tactical role in the Pacific for the Japanese in the short term. However, despite the Japanese initial success at Pearl Harbour the overall strategy led by Japanese leadership resulted in an absolute disaster resulting in the loss of the Pacific War and ultimately the loss of WWII for the Tripartite Pact.
I am currently a student at the Royal Military College of Canada. I enjoy writing but have a deeper passion for business. I am currently studying Honours Business Administration and will be a Reserve Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy upon my graduation in 2017.
